Our Story
We both met online during our first year of college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. We had been placed in an orientation group together with a few other students who were also living at home their freshman year, and we had immediately noticed each other (From Anna: I like to think that he was my 19th birthday present, since we first met one day after my birthday!). We didn't officially meet in person until one year later at the start of our sophomore year. During our first quarter on campus, we casually hung out in groups, until we started going to church together on Tuesday nights. The next quarter, we decided to take organic chemistry together, where we would see each other nearly every day! During spring break of 2022, Lee drove to Anna's house and stood outside of her door with roses and asked her out. Almost 3 years later, on January 19th, 2025, Lee proposed to Anna at Sharkfin Cove near Santa Cruz (a spot that was special to them because of their growing shark plushie collection, courtesy of Lee). She said yes of course! They had a fantastic meal at Shadowbrook Restaurant and drove home to Anna's house where Lee had planned a surprise engagement party with both of their families.

Our ceremony will be at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to be seated.

Cocktail hour will begin at 3:30 pm. Please dress in formal attire.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by September 10th so that we can have an accurate headcount.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony start time (2:00 pm) to find a good seat.

Our dress code is formal (you can absolutely use our wedding as an excuse to dress-up!).

If your invitation includes a “+1,” you are welcome to bring a guest of your choice. Otherwise, we appreciate your understanding and support in attending solo—we can’t wait to share this day with you!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love and cherish the little ones in our lives, and we’re happy to welcome children to our wedding—by invitation only. If your child(ren) are included on your invitation, we would be delighted to have them join in the celebration. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for a child-free evening.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

You are more than welcome to make a special request. However, please be aware that while we can accommodate some food allergies, we may not be able to accommodate others.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
For our ceremony at Shepherd of the Valley, please park in the back lot (adjacent to the preschool playground). For our reception at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club, the main parking lot is shared with club members and golf-goers. There are plenty of spaces!
