We first met when in High school. Although we were not close in high school, we both distinctly remember one another. Though life separated us for many years, being local has a way of keeping people together. We found each other in one of the most sacred places in our home town; St. Nicholas Cathedral. Seeing each other at church and at church events brought us together. When reconnecting one day over coffee, and talking about our past we knew there was something special in our midsts. Though our lives took different paths in the past 30 years, our faith and Greek heritage catapulted us to where we are today. As you can imagine, both our lives revolve around our children. A pivotal point in our relationship was how our children would react to our growing relationship. From the first moment Deno, Keri and Eden met, it was as if they knew each other all a long. When we witnessed how everyone interacted with such love, we knew many prayers were being answered. Having all our families blend together so organically has been a true blessing.

After an amazing year together we planned a trip to St. Augustine, Florida to spend New Years. On December 30th, we spent the entire day touring this beautiful city from lunch at the beach to looking at Christmas lights downtown. At the end of the day, Andrew proposed in an outdoor garden with hanging twinkle lights from the trees. This day was significant to us because it marked our 1 year anniversary from the day we met up to have coffee. We both were so excited and couldn't wait to share the news with our children and family.

Being that both of us have been traveling to Greece in the summers since we were children. We had many dreamy conversations of how wonderful it would be to get married in Greece. With the help of family we were able to make this dream come true. We welcome all our family and friends to this sacred sacrament of coming together as one.
