Hindu Wedding and Lunch

10:00 am - 3:30 pm

Indian or colorful formalwear! In true Indian tradition, the bride will shine in red—so let her be the only rose in the garden and save that color just for her.

Under the sacred mandap, we’ll take seven vows around the sacred fire (pheras) and exchange garlands. You’ll see vibrant colors, beautiful rituals, and blessings from both families. Lunch to follow.     •    Mandap: The sacred structure under which we’ll marry, representing home and universe.     •    Ganesh Puja: A prayer to Lord Ganesh to bless the day and remove obstacles.     •    Jaimala: An exchange of garlands to welcome one another into marriage.     •    Agni & Pheras: We’ll circle the sacred fire seven times, making lifelong vows.     •    Sindoor & Mangalsutra: Symbols of the bride’s new role, applied by the groom in love and reverence.
