How do we get to Madurai if flying internationally?

Answer

If flying internationally, the easiest way is to first fly into either Chennai (Chennai International Airport- MAA) or New Delhi (Indira Gandhi International Airport- DEL) and then take a domestic flight to Madurai (Madurai Airport- IXM).

Which airlines are recommended for international travel?

Answer

Whatever airlines you feel most comfortable with time and price wise is totally up to you! However, we usually prefer flying with Emirates, Etihad or Qatar to get to India if that helps narrow your search. From there you will need to either take another domestic flight with another airlines, or take a train or bus to Madurai.
