It was the beginning of summer 2022. I was invited to a lake get-together for Memorial Day, where I first met Sam. We didn't talk much then. Just basic short conversations here and there. Would you believe me if I said that I didn’t know his name at the time? Fast forward, I was invited to a 4th of July barbecue. While hanging out with friends, I saw Sam by the pool. Surprisingly, he was one of the loudest people there. After some time, I noticed him alone in the pool, so I decided to approach him and ask him to dance. To my surprise, he said yes. And yes, by then, I figured out what was his name. We danced to a few songs together and chatted about some things.

That Memorial Day time she was talking about, I only remember seeing her once, but little did I know that she was gonna have the “balls” to come ask me to dance later on. That 4th of July, I was enjoying some alone time and all of sudden, someone’s voice brought me back to the real world and I notice this chocolate queen asking me for a dance. I was like “sure”, and the rest was history.
