We recommend going to an official taxi stand and getting a car from there. With traffic, Ubers have been slower. There is construction happening around the airport ahead of the World Cup which means some traffic. If you're flying into T1, get picked up outside of the first four doors of Arrivals.
Transportation is being provided from the venue to the wedding hotel (Casa Decu) starting at 10 PM on wedding day. Otherwise all the venues are accessible via public transportation (one of the best bus systems in the world), Uber, or taxis.
It is the start of the monsoon season in Mexico City, which means short light bursts of rain (usually in the evening). We may see some light showers during the event but they usually pass quickly. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors so it doesn’t hurt to pack a light rain jacket or an umbrella.
As a heads up, Mexico City is ~7300 feet above sea level in case you're sensitive to elevation change. Staying extra hydrated helps a lot with the adjustment.
We recommend you buy bottle water rather than rely on the tap water.
The welcome cocktail hour is from 5-8, and toasts will start around 6 PM. Please be seated by 4:45 PM the day of the ceremony.
Teresa from Ganesha Weddings on Whatsapp (+525513796981) will contact you with updates throughout the weekend. You can get in touch with her if you have any questions.
