Close to the end of both of our times at College of Ozarks (Seraiah's last semester and my second to last), Seraiah and I found ourselves coincidentally showing up at the same place at the same time. We had been acquaintances before then through a mutual friend, but our friendship grew Seraiah's last semester. Bonding over our shared love of the Ranger's Apprentice series, shoutout John Flanagan, we both grew an interest in one another. Both of us were surprised that we finally found someone because we had both only finally accepted that we were probably going to find someone in the next stage of our lives. By the end of that semester, after spending a weekend working on homework in the college's art building, I (Andrew) found myself desiring to speak with Seraiah before she left for good since this was the weekend before finals week. That Monday, after my biggest exam that semester, I found Seraiah sitting at a table in our cafeteria (predestined by The Lord, I'm sure) and asked her to go for a walk. Since that walk and our initial getting to know each other, we have been thankful for how God has brought us together and the timing that he revolved around our relationship. After I moved up to Iowa to be closer to her and her family it was only only a few short (but very long months if you ask Seraiah) before I bought a ring, asked her dad for permission to marry her, and then proposed. Thank you for being a part of our lives and we are very excited to celebrate our special day with you!
