Where to stay

The Wedding Website of Mallory Lane and Andrew Plamann
We recommend either of these hotels as a place to stay. Larger families might want to find an airbnb to share, we recommend staying in the Fremont, Ballard, or Greenlake area. We strongly recommend booking several months in advance as June can be a busy tourist season and the FIFA World Cup is also happening in Seattle.

Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Lake Union

FAQs

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We would love to have your kids, but unfortunately our reception venue has a max capacity, so we ask for this to be an adult only occasion. We're hoping you enjoy the time away as a couple & we can't wait to see you there!

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Garden Cocktail. Our Ceremony is in a stunning rose garden which will be in full bloom! Have fun with some bright solids or prints, you're going to want some photos ;)

Question

What weather should I plan for?

Answer

Life is like Seattle weather in early summer, ya never know what you're gonna get. Our ceremony is outside, we recommend checking the weather a few days before but it can be a little bit of a toss up. We're hoping by end of June the sun season is in full swing but if you have a clear umbrella and it's looking like rain it's not a bad idea to pack. We will also have clear umbrellas or a canopy if it's looking like rain. Our reception is on a small cruise boat which is mostly covered.

Question

What is the best way to get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be parking at the ceremony and reception if you have a rental car and prefer to drive. If you are staying at the Staybridge Suites it is a short uber to the ceremony.

Registry

Your presence is our present. We are so grateful if you can make it all the way out to Seattle for our special day. We know travel can get expensive, so we have no expectations for gifts, we truly just want to spend the week showing our family and friends our life here in the PNW. We hope you plan an extra day to go on a hike, visit a few spots on our "things to do" list, and take a little vacation. We have a small registry at William Sonoma below, if you would like to bring or send a gift we will happily accept. We will also have a table for cards or honeymoon donations if you would like to write a special note. For our honeymoon we will be cruising up to Alaska, stopping in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway. We are excited to see the glaciers!
