What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm, so please plan to arrive with enough time to get seated. Doors will open for seating at 4:00pm.

We wish to celebrate this special day with you. In order to allow guests to be fully present and enjoy the evening, we are asking that no children be brought to the ceremony or reception.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Study at the University of Chicago is the host hotel for the wedding. We have secured a room block if you wish to stay at the hotel. Room rate is $299/night. There are plenty of additional hotels in downtown Chicago, which is approximately a 15-20 minute drive away. Hotel options that may offer lower room rates than the host hotel can be found in the “Travel” section of the website. Please note, there is a large conference happening in Chicago the same weekend, so it is recommended to secure your accommodations as early as possible.

Street parking is available free of charge. The hotel also offers self-parking in the garage.
