Travel

Travel Note

Getting Around

Renting a car or carpooling will be necessary for all out of town guests due to the locations of our ceremony and reception.

Travel Note

Where to Stay

Juneau is small so any hotel will generally be a short ride to where you need to go. For those unfamiliar with our town, we recommend staying in the downtown area. This will give you a longer trip to our ceremony, but will be more convenient after the reception. Four Points by Sheraton and the Silverbow Inn are the nearest hotels to Devil's Club Brewery that we'd recommend.

FAQs

Question

What's the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Typically Decembers are cold, so be prepared for rain, snow, and ice on the roads. Last year temperatures ranged from 25-45 degrees mid-December.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Give yourself an hour before the ceremony starts to get to the Shrine of Saint Therese, because it is far out of the way. Juneau roads can be unpredictable and we want everybody to arrive safely. Please be sure to have travel arrangements in place well before the wedding day.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, but we want you to be warm! Wear practical shoes and don't forget your jacket.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation and RSVP link will indicate if you're invited to bring a plus one. We wish we could invite everyone!
