12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Because many of you will be joining us from out of town, we're holding a welcome party to spend some time with you before our big day! Any local guests are welcome to join and bring a dish to share. Out of town guests- don't worry about bringing anything :) Lunch will be upstairs in the Hurlock Hall at St Pauls
2:00 pm - 2:15 pm
Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Don't forget a warm jacket!
Juneau Decembers are unpredictable- Plan for a 30-60 minute drive out depending on where you're staying and road conditions.
2:15 pm - 3:00 pm
This will be a good bit of time for taking photos, and exploring the Shrine property before heading downtown for the reception
4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Our reception will be held on the lower level of the brewery. Join us for tacos, beer, and good vibes
Travel Note
Renting a car or carpooling will be necessary for all out of town guests due to the locations of our ceremony and reception.
Travel Note
Juneau is small so any hotel will generally be a short ride to where you need to go. For those unfamiliar with our town, we recommend staying in the downtown area. This will give you a longer trip to our ceremony, but will be more convenient after the reception. Four Points by Sheraton and the Silverbow Inn are the nearest hotels to Devil's Club Brewery that we'd recommend.
This is a lovely, locally owned art gallery in Downtown Juneau. Great for souvenir shopping!
Sitting outside by the fire pits and enjoying good beer is something we love to do together, even in the winter! This family-friendly brewery hosts Red Spruce, one of our favorite local restaurants.
If you're making the journey up to Alaska, you won't want to miss your chance to visit our majestic Mendenhall Glacier.
If you're hoping to find great local seafood, you can't go wrong here.
A local favorite breakfast/brunch spot downtown. Be sure to make a reservation here!
Typically Decembers are cold, so be prepared for rain, snow, and ice on the roads. Last year temperatures ranged from 25-45 degrees mid-December.
Give yourself an hour before the ceremony starts to get to the Shrine of Saint Therese, because it is far out of the way. Juneau roads can be unpredictable and we want everybody to arrive safely. Please be sure to have travel arrangements in place well before the wedding day.
Cocktail attire, but we want you to be warm! Wear practical shoes and don't forget your jacket.
