What it is: A beautiful wildlife reserve where you can see giraffes, zebras, rhinos, antelopes, monkeys and more in their natural habitat. Safaris, guided tours, and 4×4 tours are available. Travel time from your hotel: About 20–30 minutes by car (≈ 15–17 km). Ideal for: Family day trips, safari photos, and nature lovers.
🌸 Lac Rose (Pink Lake)
What it is: A famous natural salt lake known for its amazing pink water, especially during the dry season. You can float due to the salt and see salt harvesters working. Travel time from Saly: Around 2 h to Dakar area then to the lake (≈ 70–80 km north of Saly). Note: This is a longer excursion typically done as a day trip combined with other sites. Ideal for: Unique photos, nature, adventure, and cultural experience.

What it is: A small historic island off Dakar known for its colonial history and the House of Slaves museum, reflecting the history of the Atlantic slave trade. Exploring the narrow streets, forts, museums, and coastal views makes for a powerful cultural visit. Travel time from your hotel: Car to Dakar: ~1 h 10 min (≈ 76–80 km) Then ferry to Gorée: ~20 min from Dakar port. Total of about 3 h round trip depending on ferry schedules. Ideal for: History enthusiasts, cultural tours, photography, and boat lovers.

What is the Dress code ?
Answer
The celebration will take place right on the sand. During the day it can be warm, while evenings by the sea may get quite cool, so we suggest bringing shawl. Don't forget your swimsuit for the daytime. Most importantly, dress comfortably so you can dance all night long. As for shoes, we recommend skipping thin high heels and option for chunky heels, sandals, or even barefoot for extra comfort.

What's the best way to get to the venue and the church ?
Answer
From the airport, either with the hotel shuttle bus that you need to book in advance or via Yango app. For the church, departing from Movenpick Saly complimentary shuttle bus will be provided back and force.
