A classic bookstore to stop in in DTLA, checkout the art shops on the second floor!
Disneyland is expensive and a bit far, about a 1.5 hour drive from LA, but it's worth going for an entire day (or two!) if you have the time to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure
A closer theme park to visit to get your Harry Potter world in as well as other universal studio movies. My favorite ride, the park's trolley studio tour
Looking for the best cuban bakery in town? Look no further, Porto's is an LA staple. My recommendation, the guava and cheese danishes!
Another bakery? This one is a Chinese chain and one of our favorite places to get boba that's nearby to our house. They also have a great pastry selection. Phoebe loves the sea salt foam jasmine green tea with boba, whereas Amila prefers the passionfruit green tea with lychee jelly.
Looking to get some fancy shopping done? The Americana is a classic California outdoor mall with fountains and lawns and Sinatra playing in the background. It can be a great place to go window shopping. Our favorite spot? The 3rd floor balcony of the Barnes and Noble or the wine bar in the main courtyard.
The Los Angeles River Bike path will always be special to us. It's where Phoebe proposed to Amila and where Phoebe has skated many times in their rollerblades. This cafe is just adjacent to the bike path.
