Our Story
Amber and Nick’s journey together began in the most unexpected of places—on a cruise to Mexico with their friends. It was a chance encounter, sparked by an ironic twist of fate: Amber’s friend bumped into Nick’s friend, and the introductions were made. From that moment on, their connection was undeniable. The rest, as they say, was history. For the first two years of their relationship, Amber and Nick lived about an hour apart—Amber in Santa Clarita and Nick in Lake Forest. Though the distance wasn’t ideal, they made it work. But when the pandemic hit, they found themselves spending more time together than ever before. That period of uninterrupted time together allowed them to realize that the distance was no longer something they could tolerate, and it was time for a change. So, they moved out together, with Amber’s beloved kitty, Shai, to start this new chapter of their lives. Two years later, Nick had a plan—he secretly purchased a ring and organized a special trip to Santa Barbara with Amber’s family. He was determined to keep the proposal a secret, and he succeeded in the most amazing way. On April 15, 2023, with a perfect mix of surprise and joy, Nick asked Amber to spend forever with him. Now, after a beautiful two-year engagement, we are beyond thrilled that the big day is finally here. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all of you. Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa
This resort is about 7 minutes away from the wedding venue, and where most of the weekend's events will take place. We will be staying at the resort, and both the welcome event and after party will be hosted here. We’ve secured a wedding room block for this resort. A minimum stay of two nights is required for this particular weekend. Please be sure to book within the room block to secure your room and discounted rates. In addition to the weekend stay, our hotel block also includes an option to stay a third night on Thursday at the same discounted rate. Our room block includes king and double queen options. If the room block states there are no more rooms of your desired room choice, please reach out so we can adjust the block and/or add more rooms. If you have any questions or need more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Shuttle
Get In, We're Getting Married

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you in the mountains! For your convenience, we’ve arranged for a shuttle to take guests from the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa to our wedding venue. The shuttle will arrive promptly at 2:55 PM in front of the resort and will depart at 3:00 PM sharp, so please be ready and waiting by 2:55 to ensure you don’t miss it. We highly encourage everyone to take the shuttle, as parking at the venue is limited and we want your experience to be as easy and stress-free as possible. After the celebration, the same shuttle will be available to bring guests back to the resort for the afterparty!

We kindly ask that only those listed on the wedding invitations and RSVPs attend the wedding. Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to share this special day with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There will be a small parking lot available at the venue to park. Cars CANNOT be left overnight. However, due to the late hour and the winding mountain roads, we strongly encourage guests to take advantage of the shuttle service we have arranged for transport between the resort and the wedding venue. Alternatively, a taxi service is also available for hire that evening. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Amber or Nick. We want everyone to enjoy the celebration without any worries, so please plan accordingly!

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?
Answer
Our wedding will take place both indoors and outdoors. The ceremony will take place outdoors, while dinner will be served indoors, with an open doorway between the two spaces for the evening dancing. There will be heaters to keep things comfortable, but please plan accordingly, as it may be chilly in the evening. The weather forecast shows a sunny day with temperatures in the low 70s, dropping into the high 40s in the evening.
