Festive attire. Simply put, festive attire is fun but not casual. It’s a mix of cocktail and semi-formal, so while you should expect to wear something on the fancy side, you can also let your personal style shine through.

Deadline for hotel reservations is December 10th, so we would like for you to RSVP by that time as well.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We chose a group rate at the closest hotel to the venue. There are other hotels available, but we do not have a group rate anywhere else.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. There will be a shuttle from the Marriott to the venue. I will post a shuttle schedule closer to the time. This will include pick up times before and after the wedding.

What should I expect at a New years eve wedding?

Party, party, and more party! Because the reception starts around 7:45 we will be providing soft drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts.

Will there be a bar?

As many of you are driving some distance to join us, we have arranged free soft drinks all night for you, but there will be a bar for those of you who would like to buy something stronger to celebrate with us! It accepts cash or you can set up a 'tab' if you have a credit card. Prices are reasonable and generally on par with most public houses.

You have two options. 1. Call Huntsville Marriott at 256-830-2222 and identify yourself as part of the Amber Mills Wedding Room Block Group. 2. Use the link provided on our/this wedding website.

May I show up if I didn't RSVP?

Sorry no, we can not provide food or guarantee seating for you. Please RSVP by December 10th.

When I went to RSVP it only gave me 1 extra spot for a guest, may I bring more people?

Answer

Amber and Jason have reserved seating for a specified number of guest. Please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your invitation. We wish we could accommodate all our friends and family, but resources restrict this. We hope that we are able to celebrate with others at a later date! Also, if you are attending and bringing a guest, please indicate who the guest is in the space provided. If you are attending alone, please take the guest out by pressing 'not attending' next to the guest.
