Ama and I were connected virtually by my sister in the ember months of 2017. My sister rang me up while I was at work and said, " I have found your wife." And that was how our journey began. Our connection was instant and soon enough, we started a long-distance relationship over WhatsApp. We spent countless hours with each other on voice and video calls almost everyday. Some months after, we took a break from our relationship but stayed in touch. We got back together in 2022, more mature and intentional about what we wanted, and we knew we wanted to be with each other for the long haul. In September 2023, after receiving her mother's blessing, I got on one knee and asked Ama to marry me and she said Yes! Ama often terms our relationship in seasons: Season 1 being our WhatsApp relationship and Season 2, our relationship after the break.
