If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
We'll be outside by the river (weather permitting) and in the open air barn; wear something nice that you'll be comfortable walking around the ranch in. Cowboy/girl boots encouraged to avoid sticker burrs (northern folks -- sandbar weed: it doesn't mess around) and keep you sturdy around the rocks if you feel like exploring.
Your kids are invited! Choose your own adventure on that one -- Montesino is a working ranch with horses, cattle, and other animals, along with a farm. There will be an open bar, dancing, and dinner will have mac n' cheese. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any more questions around kid-friendliness.
Something you can eat crawfish and play cornhole in outside and under a pavilion in the evening air. We'll be coming from our rehearsal, so we might be slightly dressed up.

a spring fed swimming hole with crystal clear water surrounded by cypress trees. day passes can fill up pretty quickly on the weekends — plan ahead if you want to take a dip.
the second largest fully submerged cave in Texas (!!!!!)
the oldest continually operating dance hall in Texas (since 1878!!) there are quite a few honky tonks and dance halls sprinkled around the area. 30 minutes from Wimberley — Gruene is a sweet town on yet another beautiful river (the Guadalupe)
an old railroad tunnel provides a seasonal home to around 3 million bats who emerge around dusk from the cave in a dense cloud to go out for the evening for dinner (bugs). the wedding weekend will be just a little before the season (by one weekend) — could be some good bat viewing! 1 hour and 8 minutes from Wimberley, but there are good hamburgers nearby at Alamo Springs Cafe
Rob made you all an interactive map of more of our favorite things in the area :)
