Bryce and Amanda's story began on the shores of Bayfield, at the cruise service where Amanda stopped in one summer day while she was home. As she walked into the office, Bryce was mid-conversation with his coworkers-and according to him, the sun was shining behind her, giving her a glow he's never forgotten. Not long after, Amanda found a way to spend more time with Bryce by becoming a deckhand. Days on the water turned into something more, and what started in Bayfield quickly grew into a love that would stretch across distance. For four years, they made long distance work. Eventually, the distance closed, and they lived together in a small apartment in Bayfield-followed by their first home. They adopted their dog, Chicken, welcomed their angel baby Arthur, and later their sweet, energetic (and not-so-little-anymore) Arnold. After 12 years together, their lives are filled with the things that make them them. Bryce introduced Amanda to Las Vegas, the show Friends (which she originally hated), and using more than one pillow when you sleep. Amanda introduced Bryce to hilarious movies he'd never heard of, the TLC network, and the tradition of Sundary dinners.
