Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Alyssa Cornejo and Nelson Longmire
Here are some of our favorite places in Albuquerque and Santa Fe (about an hour drive from ABQ) we recommend!
Old Town

Old Town

303 Romero St., Albuquerque, NM 87104

So cute to walk around and look at shops. We also recommend stopping by Sheehan Winery which is in the old town area at: 03 Romero St NW Suite 110, Albuquerque, NM 87104

Hiking Trails (Spain Trail-Head)

Hiking Trails (Spain Trail-Head)

Spain Road (intersection of Spain and Tramway),

There are so many good hiking trails to choose from in NM! Our favorite one is Spain Trail Head near Alyssa's childhood home. If you take Spain Road all the way up into the foothills until there is a fork in the road, take a right and you'll find a parking lot on the left :-) (this is where we got engaged!) Also check out AllTrails for good hiking recommendations

Sandia Peak Tramway

Sandia Peak Tramway

30 Tramway Road Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87122

The tram will take you to the top of the mountain, amazing view and experience on the way up, and a great view of the city once at the top of the mountain!

National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

601 Eubank Boulevard Southeast, Albuquerque, NM 87123

Neat museum- can learn a lot about atomic and nuclear development. Very Oppenheimer!

Frontier Restaurant

Frontier Restaurant

2400 Central Avenue Southeast, Albuquerque, NM 87106

Our FAVORITE place to eat in Albuquerque. Right next to University of New Mexico where we met (you can walk by the duck pond after your meal) We recommend the carne adovada breakfast burrito, and the cinnamon rolls (the tortillas are made in house- so any breakfast burrito is going to be good!) They also make orange juice freshly squeezed!!

Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm

Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm

4803 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM 87107

Los Poblanos is an up-scale restaurant (and hotel) offering farm-to-table cuisine. The property is also located on a 25 acre lavender field and they allow you to walk around the property before or after your meal.

Barelas Coffee House

Barelas Coffee House

1502 4th Street Southwest, Albuquerque, NM 87102

NOT A COFFEE SPOT we do not recommend their coffee- but this is a yummy New Mexican diner with a homey feel.

El Pinto Restaurant

El Pinto Restaurant

10500 4th Street Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87114

We recommend this place mostly for the ambiance. It is a little more fancy- but if you want to get in the Southwestern fall/winter mood, it is perfect!

Meow Wolf Santa Fe

Meow Wolf Santa Fe

1352 Rufina Circle, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Super funky interactive art exhibit in Santa Fe. It is easy to accidentally spend hours here there are so many neat things to look at.

Canyon Road

Canyon Road

Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM

Canyon Road is a road in Santa Fe lined with A TON of art galleries. Santa Fe is known for being a mecca for the arts- and Canyon Road and Santa Fe Plaza are the places to find that art. We like to stroll through this area and just stop in gallery to gallery to peruse.

Santa Fe Plaza

Santa Fe Plaza

63 Lincoln Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87501

This is another area with a ton of art in Santa Fe. We like to just stroll around the plaza and people watch. During the fall, the weather is usually so nice its pleasant to just mill about in the sunshine and window shop in the many stores adjacent to the plaza.

FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

August 24th, guests can RSVP by using the bar code included on the invitation. Sending the RSVP card back is not necessary.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony, to ensure that you find the venue, a place to park, and a comfortable seat at the ceremony.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are only registered to Zola (this website) and you can find our registry link on this website page.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

No, we did not book a hotel block because there is not a convenient hotel nearby. There are very reasonably priced Air-BnBs near the venue that we would recommend booking instead. If you have questions about the area and what neighborhoods to book in- feel free to reach out!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To keep numbers down, we did not give guests plus ones unless explicitly stated on your invitation.
