Alyssa ------------------------------------ One summer night, after service, our church family gathered at Chick-Fil-A. It was here that I sat across from two complete strangers and fumbled over my words for one of the most awkward hours of my life. If you had told me then that one of those strangers would become my future husband, I never would have believed you.

Jesus -------------------------------------- After going through a rough season of my life I met the Lord and asked him to restore me and to guide my path. After a season of seeking Him alone, He guided me to her. I learned from Him what to look for in a Godly women. I was never seeking a perfect wife, but a wife that was running after Him. I asked the Lord for boldness, and it was granted by him in asking her out and letting her know my intentions.

Alyssa ------------------------------------ After dating for 2 1/2 years we made plans to return to the site of our second date for a nature walk. While we walked we reminisced over the last 2 years. The challenges our relationship withstood, the moments of joy, and where it began all came rushing back. On the bridge, a sea of blue and green surrounding us, I suddenly turned to find him on one knee with a small box and a question.
