We'll begin our day with cheese tasting at Podere Il Casale (www.podereilcasale.com). This organic agriturismo sits on a hilltop just east of Pienza and offers breathtaking views of the Val d'Orcia. The family-run farm is famous for its acclaimed sheep and goat Pecorino cheese. Following the cheese tasting, we'll enjoy a light lunch at the farmhouse. Next, we'll head southwest for a 40-minute drive to NostraVita Montalcino (www.nostravita.it), a family-run organic estate is known for its world-class Sangiovese wines of their prestigious Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC. We'll visit their art gallery, tour the property, and taste the wine NostraVita produces in a stunning glass room with panoramic views of the Montalcino area. You can join us for cheese tasting and lunch without visiting the winery afterwards. Please use your own car to participate in these activities. If you’d like to ride-share, we are happy to arrange carpools for our guests.
