Church. The end. Jk lol, our siblings were actually a part of our ministry, long before us, that they brought us to. Granted, we were there different years, and it seems God had other plans. In 2022, we were both at St. Paul's at the same time. We had our first real conversation at Oblate (remember this for later). After a lot of what I call flirting (Ally doesn't) during group hangouts and being encouraged to dance with each other, I then mustered up a 6 month plan that included getting her number off of groupme lol, watching Mean Girls for her, getting her cookies, massaging her hand (iykyk), and after asking her to be my date to a wedding, she finally asked me to be her date to her sister's wedding. Two weeks later, I asked her out on an official date outside of Wingstop, and the rest is history. We have shared so many stories over these past 3 years, like fighting off ducks to protect her, being there to see her graduate the academy, long talks in the car, retreats, singing at weddings together, family trips, him graduating with his Masters, being pickleball partners, hikes, game nights, different hairstyles lol, to being engaged at Oblate and now writing this silly little story of how we met that all leads to us getting married! We thank y'all for being a part of our story and we cannot wait to experience this sacrament of matrimony with everyone we love (you all) at our side!
