Allison and Sarah met in the winter of 2022 at GEMS Elementary School, both of them there attending a dodgeball practice for Stonewall Sports Columbus. While Sarah was focused on her dodgeball offense, Allison was focused on Sarah (Sarah had no idea). Allison DM'd Sarah on Instagram "Hey! Are you watching the US Women's hockey game that starts in a little bit?" (It was almost 11pm, so that was very BOLD) Throughout that winter and spring, they bonded over various interests. They spent hours talking at length about life/love/hopes/dreams/desires... And of course the various Toledo ice cream shops and how delicious they were. As the summer heated up, so did Allison and Sarah's romance. On July 2nd Sarah asked Allison to be her girlfriend, in front of the waterfall at their local park. As their relationship progressed, they both knew that they had found their person. Their days are now filled with love for their fur babies, endless support of each other's passions and goals, and tackling challenges together. In the span of a year they will have adopted a puppy (the ringbearer, Oscar!), got engaged, planned a wedding, and as of August purchased their first home! They are so excited for the next stage of their lives together and to continue building a life of love and happiness together. It has been a huge year and they are so excited to blow off some steam with their loved ones and celebrate their love.
