6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This is a casual event but look your best as there will be pictures being taken.
This is the mexican version of a welcome party or "break the ice". This is still in the works but since most people are now staying at Ojo Azul we are probably going to have it there. There will be some snacks and drinks and some pool time but there is a full restaurant onsite.
3:30 pm - 11:45 pm
12:00 pm - 2:30 pm
This is a way for some people to experience say goodbye and visit an actual cool winery before heading back. You will need a taxi or car to attend this.
5:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Garden Chic
Come Unwind, Visit the house that we have made a home. See what we are growing in the garden. Eat some tacos. Bring your own cantina. In Mexican tradition this is the after wedding party aka Torna Boda
2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Top Gun Beach Volleyball Scene
Visit Ocean Beach and have a relaxing day with friends to unwind the festivities. Play some volleyball and if warm enough dip in the ocean. Some people will be potlucking but mostly small bites and games! For those who want to see why we chose to move to San Diego and hang out.

This 12 room hotel is nice and close to ojo azul. We have never been there and the shuttle will pick up slightly up the road at ojo azul. I will try to get them to make another stop. I dont much about amenities but seems like there is a pool and we will have more details soon.

Shuttle
October 1, 2025 3:00 pm - 2:00 pm
PLEASE confirm to Allison and Johnny by 9/21. We only have a 20 person shuttle so space is limited. Additionally, you'll be very limited to explore Valle de Guadalupe if youre not renting a car. Consider Carpooling with somebody else renting a car to visit some of the points of interest.
Hotel
This is where the "rompa hielo" will be held. The resort is almost where we decided to get married. A nice pool. Excellent food/bar and winery. The spa is very relaxing. This is 10min drive from the Bruma Winery. Please email Eunice at ventashotelandana@gmail.com Price is around 350$ per night, or you can book through ID90 ( link above )
Hotel
There are three individual hotels at the Bruma Wine Resort. Ático, and Casa Moñtana and Casa Ocho (venue). NOTES: All hotels are within the gated Bruma Wine Resort. Although this is considered a Mediterranean climate, the terrain is desert-like. and we highly recommend wearing closed toes shoes and car-pooling. Ático has 17 rooms and is near Mercado Bruma which includes a famous bakery, michelin restaurant, bar, shops, and a wine cellar. This is roughly a 5 minute drive from the ceremony and reception areas at Casa Ocho. At Casa Moñtana there are two villas each consisting of four individually keyed rooms. Each Villa has an infinity pool and kitchen area for staff to make breakfast (not included in room rate). The breathtaking views of the mountains, vineyard, and pond make this an exceptionally tranquil getaway. It is about a 7 minute drive from the reception and ceremony. Casa Ocho- These rooms are designated for guests we've made arrangements with in advance. Thank you for your understanding. For these properties we have secured a special rate with the hotel manager, Ruth Loyola. Please contact her for your booking needs. Prices are 317$ - $398 for Attico and 1000-1500$ for Casa Montańa.

Entrevalle is an economic hotel. It's a bigger hotel with more amenities. The road is mostly dirt so just beware of that if driving.

Travel Note
We HIGHLY suggest you take highway 94 into Tecate which turns into Mexico Highway 3 if driving. Essentially its one road all the way From San Diego to Bruma. The mountainous drive is stunning and doesn't require any tolls. The road is well- paved but windy. The other option is a coastal, scenic road along the iconic Mexican Highway 1. There are some tolls and is more of an adventure if you have the time. We would advise against driving at night on either route as lighting is limited.

This is a small hotel walkable to Ocean Beach where we will have the beach day. We plan on just enjoying the water if its hot and play some beach volleyball. There is a dog beach nearby as well and a bunch of little shops and restaurants. Its the more "hippie" beach crowd but still pretty beautiful and safe. its about 160$ per night.

Amazing vinacola and restaurant! We will have their wines at the boda.
Very chill petnat wine bar with good food.
The restaurant sits on top of a mountain that overlooks the stunning cliffs of hwy 1. There is a bumpy but fun bus ride to get to the top!
Ranked as the best breakfast in the world!!! They dont take reservations but even on a Saturday we were able to get seats in about 45min. If you can definitely try this. The road is not paved but the food is worth it.
This is a famous Michelin restaurant. Amazing but you will need a reservation.
Extensive dinner. Great music.
South by about 45 minutes. A party beach town to visit in Mexico. It's got a reputation for being wild.
This winery / music venue is amazing with animals and tacos and just a general great day.
Fun lively castle-like place on the ocean. Available if you drive but most likely you need to cross through Tijuana coming back to USA.
Great little restaurant with some random animals and design.
YES! We anticipate having a shuttle leaving from the Otay Mesa border 10/1. We are asking to please arrive the day before. Some people will be carpooling from San Diego if you would like to carpool. We have Hertz and Enterprise have an additional charge for rentals from San Diego that can cross the border. We get car rental discounts from being in the travel industry, use id90 link from travel section. There are not a lot of Lyft or taxi's in the valley there so group up when possible.
Well that depends on your driving capability and where you are coming from. From SAN ( San Diego international ) you can rent a car and drive approximetly 100 min to Bruma. We will have limited shuttle(s) from the Otay Mesa border. From TIJ (Tijuana International Airport) mostly mexican routes but it does serve PHX and Beijing directly.
While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults only celebration. We appreciate your understanding as make this a special evening for everyone. There are a number of safety concerns we have with scorpions/snakes/cacti that are know to be in the area. Please note that a few expectations have been made for close family.
Once RSVPs are done I will create a WHATSAPP group for people coming from PDX/SFO/SAN/RDD/LAX/NRT/MNL/NYC
The event is formal but we understand we are in a desert. We have compiled a mood board to reference. https://www.pinterest.com/johnnyandallison/wedding-attire/
