Our First Date
We met up at the infamous Atlanta joint - the Vortex. Carissa got the biggest BBQ burger imaginable; Allison immediately fell in love. After a few drinks and dancing, Carissa wasn't far behind.
The Proposal
We each raced to beat the other to it. Carissa got proposed to at her favorite spot with the best view of Atlanta. Allison got surprised at home under hundreds of hanging lights and memories. We both won.

Atlanta and Athens are both big cities with a lot of rideshare options. We do suggest using Uber or Lyft if you are able to . Carpooling would also help out a lot ! Transport to the celebration

We blocked two hotels less than 15 minutes from the Botanical Gardens. Uber & Lyft are recommended , especially if you will be drinking. There will also be a shuttle service to the venue in the afternoon for 2 hours and from the venue back to the hotels at night for 2 hours. We will provide the transportation service information when you check in to your hotel !

There are two airports that you are able to fly into for our wedding. 1- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This airport is 1 hour and 40 minutes from Athens and the venue. This airport is very busy, but has a lot of options. 2- Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. This airport is about 1 hour and 50 minutes from Athens and the Venue. This airport is not as busy. If you need any extra personal transportation services , we recommend Andy’s Transportations. He can provide rides to/from the airports and any other driving needs. There is free parking at the State Botanical Gardens. There are three lots immediately adjacent to the conservatory/visitor's center. Once you park, you can walk towards the conservatory, take the elevator or stairs to ground level, and join us inside!
