Our Love Story
It all began when (and where) they least expected it. Amanda and Tom crossed paths at the infamous Scholar’s Cocktail Lounge in Boston, unaware that this seemingly ordinary night out would change everything. What started as a quick rejection by Amanda, Tom’s persistence and charm - along with many, many adult beverages - quickly turned that chance encounter into something extraordinary. As they spent more time together, they realized they were each other's missing puzzle piece. Amanda admired Tom’s attention to detail, and his captivating blue eyes, while Tom was drawn to Amanda’s ability to make life feel like an adventure — and, of course, her tremendous cooking skills. From their first sushi date to their countless adventures across the globe, every step of the journey has felt like a perfect fit. Through laughter, challenges, and countless adventures, they’ve built a love that has only grown stronger over time. Whether it’s renovating a house or going on walks with their dog, Alphonse, they’ve come to know that there is no one else they’d rather spend their lives with. Now, after 6+ years, they’re excited to take the next step in their journey—hand in hand, ready to face everything life brings them. We can’t wait to celebrate the culmination of this incredible journey with all of you on our wedding day. Thank you for being part of our lives and our big day. We’re beyond excited to share this next chapter with you!

Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
Guests may enter the venue at 4:30PM and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time and make sure to give yourself extra time for city traffic and parking.

The Dome Room, which is located inside the hotel.
Question
Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
Answer
We respectfully ask that all guests keep their phones and cameras away for the ceremony portion of the night. We have hired an amazing photographer, so please save all personal photos until after the ceremony. In addition, we will share a QR code on the day of the event to share your photos and videos from the reception!

Will the wedding be inside?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors in the Dome Room. Our cocktail hour will be held in a separate area across from the Dome Room.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes, the hotel provides valet parking at a fee.

The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional.

Can I bring a plus one/kids?
Answer
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list and this is an adults only event. Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Yes, we plan to go to Sweeney’s or The Irving, which are both located inside the hotel. Both will remain open until 2:00AM.
