We met in August 2022 on Hinge—two people swiping with no real expectations, just open to seeing what might happen. From the start, something felt easy. Our conversations flowed naturally, and it didn’t take long to realize we shared a lot of the same values—especially when it came to family, loyalty, and what we wanted out of life. We met in person for the first time in September, and what could have been just another first date quickly turned into something more. There was a comfort between us right away, like we had known each other longer than we had. Somewhere between the laughter, the stories, and (of course) bonding over our love for football—Kyle easily convincing Alison to adopt the Buffalo Bills—we both knew this was different. Not long after, on November 6, 2022, we officially became “us.” From there, everything grew naturally. Our relationship was built on a genuine friendship first—one that made space for both the fun, lighthearted moments and the deeper, more vulnerable ones. We’ve always been able to be fully ourselves with each other, which is something we never take for granted. There have been countless moments that define our story—some big, some small—but all meaningful. Whether it was laughing over something ridiculous, supporting each other through challenges, or even dancing barefoot at a bar without a second thought, every piece has shaped what we have today. On December 25, 2024, Kyle proposed, and it felt like the most natural next step in a relationship that has always just made sense. At the heart of it all, our story is simple: we found a best friend in each other. Someone to grow with, laugh with, lean on, and build a life with. And this is just the beginning.
