Some love stories begin with sparks. Ours began with directions—and a little divine irony. We first met in 2010 at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. David, a little lost, was wandering around looking for a building. Alisha, by chance (or maybe fate), crossed his path and kindly pointed him toward the right place—completely unaware that she was the destination he was really looking for. From that moment on, our paths kept crossing. What began as a simple interaction blossomed into a strong friendship built over the years—full of laughter, support, and shared life experiences. We never could have guessed back then that our friendship would become the foundation of something so beautiful. In 2020, after a decade of knowing each other, we finally stepped into a new chapter—together. And what a journey it’s been since. Through every twist and turn, we’ve grown deeper in love, grounded in faith, and grateful for the path that led us here.
