It's been a long road, but we made it hand in hand to this monumental point. Even in our darkest hour, we provided a light of hope to one another. Our story is humble in its beginning. A religious intelligent waitress at a Mexican restaurant, and a recovering Catholic pig farmer. Neither of them knew how the other would shape their life and play such a large role in their future. Countless phone calls, driving around, talking to one another. As time went on, we began to grow as people. Providing elements and characteristics the other lacked. Compassion, wisdom, skepticism, and curiosity. Stubbornness was one trait we shared from the moment we met. The path we walked had many turns, and for a time we lost one another. Our shared stubbornness and admiration for one another couldn't keep us apart. This reunification brought us much closer than before. No longer would we work against one another, but walk forward as one. October 13th, is the day that this story begins a new chapter in our lives, to finally officially become one. - The Groom
