Like many modern love stories, ours began online—on a sweet little app called Coffee Meets Bagel. We had each just created our profiles, curious to see what (or who) was out there. Within days, we matched, started chatting, and something sparked. At the time, he was heading off on a solo vacation, and I was just emerging from a season of deep personal transformation. I had recently moved back to Reno, rebuilding my life, holding space for hope, and dreaming of a true partnership—one rooted in trust, mutual growth, and love. I had recently started my inner journey of healing using Tarot for self guidance + insight. This helped me form a new image of what a true partner is for me and what I was looking for and building. Sabin had been coming through his own transformation. Establishing more discipline in life, work, and healing from past traumas and mindsets. He had just emerged into a new place in life where he finally felt ready to find his person, and let them in and share himself in a real and intentional way. That’s when we found each other—two people looking for and building something real and intentional. The day he returned from his trip, we met in person—just hours after his flight landed. We hugged as if we’d known each other forever, grabbed lattes, and strolled along the Truckee River into downtown Reno. We talked about our lives, our hopes, our relationship ideals. We both said we didn’t want to rush—but also didn’t want to waste time on anything less than something lasting. (But the chemistry was undeniable. 😘✨) From there, things unfolded naturally. Over the next several weeks, we met up often—eating good food, + spending hours working through “get-to-know-you” card games, discussing the deep aspects of our desires, and discovering over and over again just how aligned we were in values, goals, and love languages. We found in each other that true, partnership type love. That Two of Cups type union the cards helped us to manifest. This joined path has tested us. We have had the same battles as every other great love story has had. But we continue to choose each other every day, hold hands and walk with intention and purpose through each storm- + we cling to each other to find the hope and joy too. He asked me to move in on Valentine’s Day. He proposed in March. And now, our shared vision becomes official on October 11th, 2025—a day to celebrate love, connection, and the beautiful life we’re building together. We hope to see you there!
Sabin turned 33 this August and has lived in Reno for about 10 years. His heritage is Romanian, but his family mostly lives in Italy now. He works as a project manager and engineer at a local security company, servicing clients big and small all over the Reno/Tahoe region and beyond. Alice turned 35 this July and has lived in Reno off and on for the last 17 years, with some periods of time spent in California as well. She worked for Starbucks as a Manager for 5 years before going solo and doing Lyft in San Francisco and Reno for the last few years and now has a Pet Sitting business through Rover. Together they enjoy camping, road trips, vacations (Disneyland😏), family time and experiencing life in a meaningful and intentional kind of way. They also enjoy making art and being creative together! We like to connect often and check in regularly in manifesting goals and making their dreams become reality. ✨🌕🃏

Handfast Ceremony Guide + Best Friend
Shannon and I have been best friends since before either of us can remember. With over 20 years of friendship and sisterhood, Shannon will guide us through a Handfast Ceremony binding us together in love and community.
Parents of the Bride
My steadfast support system. Not many people can say they’re friends with their parents- but I can. Through my best and worst times they have been there for me. We laugh, we cry and and we have so many similar interests and shared humors. Love you Mom + Dad 😘❤️
Grooms Parents
Even though Sabin’s Parents are in Italy + can’t join us on our special day, we want to honor them by representing them here ❤️ Mulțumesc mamă și tată pentru că ați adus pe lume un fiu atât de dulce! Xoxo 💋 They will also be represented by Sabin’s long time friend Daniel Tarlea, his wife Vanda and their Daughter Charlize, who will hold the rings at the Chapel Service and lay Sabins Parents cords at the Hand-Fast Ceremony.
High Priestess of Honor
My sister, my biggest fan & best friend since inception. She holds the role of High priestess of honor and will support the bride as she makes things official at the Chapel.
Flower Girls
My flower girls! Kerowyn and Grandma Betty have the Role of flower girls for the chapel ceremony!
This is a huge and beautiful local regional park that has free parking and lots of manicured paths throughout! If you need a walk and a breath of fresh air, this is a quiet and peaceful spot that has brought us a lot of joy to explore!
Inside Reno Public Market. It’s a fantastic antique and thrift store! They have two stories of fun things to explore and a Zoltar!
Has lots of food booths! Mediterranean, Ramen, Fried Chicken, BBQ and more! Plus a bar in the middle if you’re thirsty!
If you get there in the morning they have awesome coffee from our local Midnight coffee roaster + flaky pastries, breakfast items and sweets!
This is where we had our first date! This cozy shop is right next to a path that goes along the Truckee River into downtown. It’s pleasant in any season for a stroll with a hot cup of house roasted and brewed coffee ☕️
Our favorite bar to grab a cocktail and vibes! My favorite drink comes with a side of Prosecco**
This is our place! One of our first dates was at this brewery! Sabin’s favorite brew is “Icky-osaurus” and mine is the “Cantaloupe Wit”- taste just like cantaloupe! We like to get their chicken wings and cowboy burger!
This is our favorite weekend haunt. There’s always something going on up there, and even on slow weekends with no events we like to walk through their eclectic shops and enjoy the beautiful mountain/ old west vibe of the place! We especially love their rock shops and doing the old timey pictures!
We understand that tarot can be unfamiliar or even concerning, especially for those coming from a traditional Christian/religious background. So we want to take a moment to gently clarify what tarot means to us, and why it’s present in our wedding. Tarot is not about fortune-telling, witchcraft, or calling on spirits. For us, it’s a tool for reflection, intention, and meaningful conversation. Each card represents a universal theme—like trust, transformation, grief, hope, partnership, or new beginnings. Just like scripture uses parables and symbols to speak to the soul, tarot uses imagery to invite insight, pause, and deeper connection. The truth is, tarot has roots in 15th-century Christian Europe. Many early decks were filled with Christian symbolism and were originally used as tools for storytelling, moral reflection, and even spiritual contemplation. The cards themselves are not magical or dangerous—they’re paper. What matters is the intention behind them. In our relationship, tarot has been a way for us to slow down and reflect together. It’s helped us ask each other meaningful questions, process life’s changes, and align with our values. It has guided many honest, healing conversations that have made our love stronger. We know this language may be different than what you’re used to—but we want to assure you: there’s no darkness here. Just love, growth, and two people honoring the tools that helped them find each other. You’re welcome here. Your beliefs are welcome here. We just ask the same in return—with love and understanding.
We’re not doing a traditional registry — we’ve already built a home together and don’t need much in the way of household items. If you feel called to give a gift, financial support would mean the most to us at this time. You’re welcome to contribute with cash or via Venmo [@Alice-Taylor-25], and anything gifted may help us fund future plans — especially a honeymoon, which we don’t currently have a budget for. That said, if there’s something that personally speaks to you, we’ll cherish any thoughtful gift you choose to give. Your presence truly is the greatest gift of all.
Yes! Please see the Travel page for details on parking and how to get to the different venues- but there is free parking options and handicap accessibility at all venues.
Yes! We didn’t hire a professional photographer. We have some volunteers to take some group photos and couple photos, but we would love it if you took pictures and videos during the events and share it all with us. We will have a method to easily share all your content!
Commonly couples do some kind of ritual at their wedding- like pouring sands or lighting a candle together to symbolize visually their union and two becoming one. Handfasting is an ancient ritual where a couple’s hands are gently bound together with cords or ribbons to symbolize their union — it’s actually where the phrase “tying the knot” comes from! Since we’ll be exchanging our vows privately earlier in the day, we chose to include this ritual as a meaningful way to share our commitment with our family and community. It’s a spiritual and symbolic moment that reflects the intentions we’re setting for our marriage. The ceremony will be short and sweet — around 10 to 15 minutes. It’s symbolic and heartfelt, but not overly long or formal. Handfasting is rooted in old traditions but isn’t tied to any one religion. For us, it’s a spiritual and personal ritual that represents love, intention, and connection — values we hold dear regardless of belief system.
Yes there will be food! The reception is centered around the hand-fast ceremony and then a feast! I am aware that there is some allergies and sensitivities in our group and am taking that into consideration for our menu. Menu is subject to change somewhat but as of now here is our menu for reception dinner: ✨BBQ chicken ✨Baked dill carrots ✨Oven roasted baby potatoes with herbs ✨Salad ✨Charcuterie board- with imported options from Sabin’s parents in Italy 🇮🇹 There will be some alcohol options available at the events, but also plenty of non alcoholic options as well. * Theres an additional Tri tip option that may or may not be available, we are still on the fence about that option, but the chicken is 100% - and suuuuuper good!
Yes! While most of the kids in our family are already grown, little ones are absolutely welcome. We just ask that, during our handfasting ceremony — which is a quiet and meaningful moment for us — any disruptions be gently stepped away from. There’s lots of outdoor space and a comfortable indoor sitting area if anyone needs a break.
Because we’re keeping our wedding small and meaningful, we’re only inviting close family and a few select friends. We won’t be including plus ones beyond those specifically invited. We truly appreciate your understanding — and if you haven’t already, please RSVP (and mention which events you’re attending) as soon as you can so we can plan accordingly!
There’s no dress code! We expect the beginning of October to give us clear skies, but more on the chilly side - so I’d recommend layers and comfort. We have a Celestial, Tarot, moon and stars type theme. Colors are dark purples and blues, black and gold ✨🌖🌌🕯️ We want to take lots of pictures so wear something you feel good in for pics!
