Our favorite time to do this walk is with our morning coffee or at sunset.
Drive all of the way down the dirt road to the end (about a 40 minute drive from Santa Cruz). Park and start your hike. The redwoods here are incredible.
Date night restaurant! The menu often changes, seasonal creativity. They don’t take reservations and are usually busy all night, so you may want to get there early!
Ali’s favorite college breakfast spot. They don’t take reservations and usually have a line out the door, but it’s so good! Ali’s order was always the Greek scramble with honey molasses bread or cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll is really the best.
A peaceful sanctuary with a walking loop in deep in the redwoods. Our kids are fueled by dried mango and Alexander gets his meditation on before our hikes.
