Our story
Our older brothers, Austin and Seth, had been friends for a couple years and ended up becoming roommates. After hearing Austin bring up his younger brother, with long hair, I got the courage to follow him on Instagram. *good ole social media* Very quickly he messaged me and we texted non-stop. We planned to meet in person later in the week as I was on a trip. It was May 31st the night we met and we have been stuck like glue since then, just a few short days later on June 3rd he asked me to be his girlfriend, and on September 17th, 2023, Alex proposed :)

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

The Night of Lights will be happening!! Every year Nights of Lights begins November 23 until January 26. This is a huge tourist attraction so be prepared to see many people. During this festival of lights, downtown St. Augustine glows with holiday magic – from the ground to the rooftops. St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights features millions of tiny white lights that create a magical atmosphere in the Nation’s Oldest City, and it's free of charge.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
You can arrive as early as 5:30PM. Ceremony starts at 6PM Nights of Lights will be happening and the town will be very busy and full of people. There will be minimal parking available. If you are unable to walk to The Lightner Museum from your stay, I would STRONGLY urge you to get an Uber so you will not lap around the town finding parking.

We will upload a few hotels that we have blocked off rooms for. It is first come first serve. We also posted a few Bed and Breakfasts that are within a 10 min walk to the venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking is going to be very limited. We have found a few hotels and B&B's within walking distance. The Nights of Lights will have the downtown area extremely congested, causing traffic to back up about 30 min or so. I would recommend car pooling with friends or getting an Uber/Lyft. We are working on reserving a parking lot through Flagler College, will update once finalized.
