The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting), and the grass can be soft. Please keep this in mind when choosing your heels. There will be shuttles to the ceremony at 3:30 pm and at 4:00 pm leaving from Hotel Viking.

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is approximately 1.5 hours from Newport. It is the largest airport in the area and typically has the most flight options as well as the most economical fares. Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) is approximately 30 minutes from Newport. It is a much smaller airport and is generally easier to navigate than Logan.
Travel Note

Fall is shoulder season in Newport, so there should be plenty of options for accommodations. We recommend staying in downtown Newport. It is very walkable and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. We will not be doing hotel blocks but would highly recommend Hotel Viking for guests. Newport also has many great inns and B&Bs, and we have listed some of our favorites below. House/apartment rentals are another great option, especially for larger groups, and there are plenty of listings on AirBnB and VRBO.

How do I RSVP for the wedding?
Answer
Please visit the "RSVP" tab on our website and fill out the required fields. We kindly ask that you RSVP by Sunday, September 1st.

This will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is black-tie optional. Guests are welcome to wear tuxedos and evening dresses but can also wear dark suits with ties and mid- to floor-length cocktail dresses if it is more comfortable.

What is the weather like in the area?
Answer
October weather in Newport can be a bit unpredictable. A typical day is in the low 60's with about a 50/50 chance of rain. However, weather could range from the mid-40's up to the mid 70's. We recommend checking the weather a few days in advance of your travels to plan your attire accordingly.

How do we get to the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is an approximately 10-minute drive from downtown Newport. Transportation from downtown Newport will be provided at 3:30 pm and 4 pm leaving from Hotel Viking. There also are plenty of Ubers and taxis in the area, and parking is available at the venue. If you do drive or taxi, we recommend adding an extra 5 minutes to your trip to take the scenic route along Ocean Avenue.
