We met in 2009 through mutual friends when we started freshman year at Richardson High School. Through the years we had plenty of classes together and we became really great friends.

Fast-forward to 2018, we both graduated college and moved back to Dallas where our friendship and friend group fell right back into place. Everything changed when we went to Six Flags with a group of friends. Wesley and I were paired up for the Mr. Freeze ride and while we were waiting for our turn, I suddenly thought "wow this is a good looking guy". After that, Margarita Ball changed everything for us. We were ~magically~ paired together for the evening and our first dance was to Pour Some Sugar On Me. It took a couple weeks to get a date on the books after that magical night but the second he asked me on the first date, he asked me on our second date as well! Our first date to the zoo for Zoo-Lights solidified everything and I loved how nerdy he was about all of the animals.

This past August, while we were on vacation at the beach, Wesley made reservations for us at Bud and Alleys in Seaside. He said he got a text saying that due to construction we would have to walk on the beach to get to the restaurant (he's smooth). Once we got to the beach and took our shoes off he led me over to a beautiful set up and told me where to stand haha. He got down on one knee and I immediately started crying while he gave a very beautiful speech that I can't remember. He pulled out a gorgeous green ring box and asked "will you marry me?". I said yes!! We heard some cheering from the pavilion above where my parents and his family were watching and waiting to celebrate with us!
