How to Get There / Where to Stay

The Wedding Website of Adam Simowitz Price and Alejandra González
You should plan on flying into Mexico City. There are two aiports, so make sure you fly into Benito Juarez (Airport code: AICM). We welcome you to come early, or stay past the wedding weekend to explore Mexico City and the amazing culture. We have a long list of suggestions to provide if you plan on spending some extra time in Mexico City during this visit. Upon arriving in Mexico City, Ubers are a safe and inexpensive way to travel around the city. For accommodations in Mexico City, we recommend staying in Condesa, Roma, or the Polanco neighborhoods. Airbnbs and hotels are plentiful in these spots. On Friday afternoon, we will provide optional and free transportation from Mexico City to Cuernavaca. Departure will be 1pm local time. Please indicate if you plan to use this transportation in your RSVP. If you don't take our optional transportation on Friday, car services and Ubers are likely to cost $150 each way. We do not recommend renting a car if you are not fluent in Spanish.

FAQs

If you have any other questions, other than the listed here please contact Alejandra González +52 55 7008 8623
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cuernavaca is known as the "City of Eternal Spring", so expect warm and sunny weather during the day, and a bit cooler at night. Therefore, please wear light clothing (business casual), and bring a jacket for the evening time.

Question

Can I fly into Cuernavaca instead of Mexico City?

Answer

No, unfortunately, there is not an airport in Cuernavaca for passenger flights.

Question

How do I get to Cuernavaca from Mexico City, and back again?

Answer

We will provide optional and free transportation from Mexico City to Cuernavaca at 1pm on Friday. On Sunday, we will provide optional and free transportation from Cuernavaca to Mexico City at 11am. In both situations, we MUST know via your RSVP if you are wanting to use our transportation options. It takes about 1.5hrs to travel between the cities, so please plan accordingly. If you don't take our options, you can coordinate car service on your own, and expect to spend about $150-$200/vehicle each way. If you are feeling really adventurous, you can take a very low cost bus - but be ready to practice your Spanish.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately not. Children under the age of 10 will be hard to accommodate at the venue. This will be a loud, 12-hour party.

Question

No Gifts Please!

Answer

We do not want anyone to bring a gift or ask about a registry - we don't have one. We would just enjoy having your presence with us in Mexico to enjoy this special occasion.

Question

Are there other places to stay in Cuernavaca that aren't listed above?

Answer

Yes. There are lots of resorts, hotels, and Airbnbs in the city. You can find something at every price range so feel free to do a Google Search if you would like something else.

RSVP

Please let us know if you can join us no later than September 30th. Also - indicate if you would like to use our transportation services on Friday and/or Sunday between Mexico City and Cuernavaca.
