Jackson and Alaina's wedding celebration
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Semi formal/cocktail attire but comfortable! The ceremony will be held outside and it may get warm, so keep that in mind. Ladies: tall heels may be harder to get around in as we will be in grassy areas for the ceremony portion of our celebration.
Arrive at 5pm to enjoy a quick pre-ceremony drink if you would like! Ceremony will start outside at about 5:30 and will last around 20-30 minutes. The bride and groom will be taking some photos around the property for a short time after the ceremony. We will have some snacks and light bites as well as drinks available for you to enjoy! Anyone who wants to join us for a late casual dinner afterwards is welcome to continue the celebration with us.

Please check with us first if you are planning on bringing any additional guests not listed on your invitation. The location of the ceremony is at a VRBO in a private neighborhood and we are only allowed a certain number of guests.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Shenandoah, VA is a small mountain town and there are quite a few options nearby on Airbnb, and VRBO to rent. Hotel options are limited. You can also try the Massanutten Resort (located 28 minutes from ceremony space) or Cave Hill Farm Bed and Breakfast (located 30 minutes from ceremony space).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking will be somewhat limited as it is a private VRBO residence. We know a lot of people attending will be staying with family for the weekend, so if you can, plan to carpool with family you are staying with.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Ceremony will be very quick from about 5:30-6pm. After the ceremony, we will have light snacks and drinks such as charcuterie boards, beer, and alcohol free drink options. We plan to go out for a very casual dinner afterwards (pizza or burgers, etc) and whoever wants to join us is welcome!
