Our story began thanks to Jordan’s oldest sister, Courtney! I had the privilege of being one of her bridesmaids for her wedding. After the ceremony and reception when everyone was saying their goodbyes, that’s when I met Jordan. He was super sweet, kind, and both of us were rambling on about how much we loved Call Of Duty. Although, we both were committed to other parties at that time of our life, a lot of people saw the chemistry there. Even my soon to be father-in-law saw it and called it. Exactly one year later to the date we met, we went on our first official date! ❤️

I always talked about two dream proposals to Jordan when we were dating. I told him either the perfect proposal would be under the Northern Lights or during Christmas time in Branson, Missouri! It was always top on my bucket list to see the Christmas lights over in Branson and shared on social media every year of how beautiful it is. We ended up taking a weekend trip to Branson as a little getaway trip and I was beyond excited. We ended up going to Silver Dollar City and meeting up with some good friends who visit the park pretty often. They showed us around, we got to try some cinnamon bread for the first time, and Jordan got to ride this insane roller coaster! It got later in the night and we were walking up to the big Christmas tree they have in display. They were about to start the parade so they were beginning to get some of the paths cleared up. Jordan had asked me if I wanted to get some pictures by the tree so our friends took his phone to get everything set up. As I was posing, he told me to look over to my right. I looked and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary so I was momentarily confused. I kept looking but then it clicked…I knew at that moment what was going on. I spun around and looked down and behold, Jordan was down on one knee with a ring. I’ll never forget what he told me in those moments. He said, “I’m going to make this short and sweet, okay? I love you so much and I am sure. Will you marry me?” I said yes and we immediately started hugging! People around us were cheering and congratulating us and I was beaming!!! The best part is our friends filmed the whole proposal so we can reflect on that moment for eternity! I’m grateful for the wonderful people in our life and grateful to have someone so loving and so incredible. Very soon, we will be taking the next steps into our forever and ever! ❤️
