PLEASE NOTE: If you are staying at the W hotel, we have arranged for a shuttle bus to take you to/from Dullboy for this event.

Your Personal Style Wedding Outfit: Please wear whatever your spin is on Semi-Formal Cocktail Attire. We want you to dress it up in a way that reflects your own personal swanky style.
Please join us from 4-10pm on Thursday May 15, 2025 at “Lulu’s” inside the W Hoboken Hotel for our Wedding. The ceremony will start at 4:30pm, so please plan to arrive around 4pm. It will be followed by a cocktail hour with light bites, buffet style dinner, and dessert! (and of course an open bar! 🥂) Then we will spend the rest of the night dancing against the Manhattan skyline!
Flight
Hoboken, New Jersey is accessible by 3 airports (EWR in NJ and is the closest, LGA in NY and JFK in NY). Please keep in mind that it will be a weekday and normal rush hour cautions apply. If you choose to stay in NYC, please allow 1 hour travel time between NYC and Hoboken due to rush hour traffic for the Welcome Reception and the Wedding Ceremony.
Hotel
We will be staying at the W Hoboken for two nights of wedding festivities on Wednesday May 14th and Thursday May 15. The W is located in historic downtown Hoboken, on the Hudson River with no unobstructed views of Manhattan. There is a promenade along the water to enjoy a long walk and take in the scenery. It is also two blocks from Hoboken’s main thoroughfare, Washington Street, where you can find all sorts of shops and restaurants. We have secured a block of hotel rooms at the W Hoboken from Tuesday May 13 through Friday May 16th (3 nights) consisting of 15-King Beds, and 15-2 Queen Beds available at a discount if you book through the link below. These rooms are available on a first come first serve basis. Please contact Ariel.Markowitz@whotels.com directly if you would like to add on more discounted nights during your stay. Mention it is for the “Smith Dammert Wedding.” The hotel is also small dog friendly! Please contact the Ariel above and confirm availability of these special dog friendly rooms if you would like to bring your fur baby, before booking. (While small dogs are welcome in the hotel, we do ask that you leave them in the room during the wedding and reception).
Hotel
There are many other nearby hotels (<10 min Uber) to choose from in Downtown Jersey City, and Newport. Here are some within a short Uber ride away (we do not have any discounts available at these hotels): The Westin Jersey City Newport Canopy by Hilton Jersey City Residence Inn Downtown Jersey City Hyatt House Jersey City Courtyard Jersey City Newport Double Tree by Hilton Hotel and Suites Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel You also have the option to stay in one of the many hotels in NYC.
House Or Rental
For bigger families or extended stays, Airbnb has many options in Jersey City, or Hoboken, NJ. While all of Hoboken is ok to stay in, if you choose to find an airbnb in Jersey City, please stick around the downtown/waterfront areas for the best neighborhood experience. Please note that Airbnbs are no longer legal in NYC for stays less than 30 days, so please use caution when considering this option.
Please RSVP for both the Welcome Reception, and the Wedding Ceremony, no later than Monday March 31st, 2025
We want to take this event as a time to celebrate with family and friends! While we want to accommodate our guests individual wishes, we have been very intentional with our guest list, and will not be able to provide everyone a +1.
Even though we would love to celebrate with you and your entire family, we ask that you consider this an adult wedding event. The intent is to celebrate with you as our guests!
We are not registered anywhere. If you choose to get us a gift, the only thing we are asking for is a contribution to our honeymoon fund.
We want everyone to be free to express themselves in their best semi-formal cocktail attire for the Wedding Ceremony. For the Welcome Reception, please wear something casual and nice!
The W is located in Hoboken, and the welcome reception is located about a 15 minute car ride away in Jersey City. For anyone staying at the W, we have organized a shuttle van to and from Dullboy.
Please arrive around 4pm and plan to be seated inside the ceremony by 4:30pm. There is a lounge in the lobby of the W, as well as a place to mingle in the venue before hand.
We do not suggest renting a car. Traffic in the area can be very congested. Parking is also hard to find, and expensive if you do. We recommend relying on Uber and Lyft while you are in New Jersey, which are widely available and easy to use.
There will be valet parking at the W Hoboken for Wedding guests who plan to arrive by car. We will cover the cost of parking for our guests on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
While Uber is a cheap and convenient way to get around inside New Jersey, there are hefty tolls to drive into Manhattan of $20+ depending on the time of day. There are no tolls leaving Manhattan back to Jersey, and you can expect a fair price in an Uber going that way. If you are going into the city, we suggest taking the 10-minute PATH train ride from Hoboken Station, which is a 3-minute walk from the W and only costs $3 per person. All PATH and MTA station accept Tap-To-Pay, so you don’t need to purchase a metro card. Just tap your credit/debit card or phone, and go! Once you are in Manhattan, your most efficient option is to use Google/Apple Maps to take the subway around the city. You can also hail a cab, but it can be expensive and take much longer to get anywhere due to traffic.
Here is a special list that we have put together just for our guests of places we know and love in Hoboken, Jersey City, and NYC. You can find food options, experiences, and a couple of our main drug stores for any items you may need while traveling.
