We call one another our “Surprise Blessings” for so many different reasons. God’s redeeming power and love has been on full display throughout our journey. Although it started as a surprise blessing, it has evolved into a beautiful love story and we are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together! We have known each other since 2011. At some point we lost touch for several years but happened to see each other at a mutual friend's surprise birthday party. Coincidentally, we ended up sitting at the same table with a few others and got the chance to catch up. It was at the end of the party where Adia had mentioned her interest in learning how to golf, which opened the opportunity for us to connect more in the future. Five months went by without much communication, but then Cameron asked Adia for her number. Phone conversations turned into a three hour get together over coffee! We laughed and connected as if years really hadn't gone by. We left that coffee meetup as friends and neither of us had plans on being anything more. Seriously! Since the reconnection went so well and we had such a great time, we decided to stay in touch. After three months of phone calls and hanging out periodically, things naturally grew into a deeper friendship than we ever had before. Time turned into more time, and we very naturally and organically found ourselves catching unplanned feelings! This last year and half has been filled with great conversations, lots of laughs, fun times, and chemistry we never imagined. Our lost friendship has turned into a loving relationship, and now our love story has come to this truly magical point of our Happily Ever After!

Maid of Honor
As Melissa would tell it, she didn’t like me when we first met…but that didn’t last for long! We met in college while pledging Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. back in Spring 2004. However, it was our love for travel, adventure and exploring local coffee shops that grew our friendship closer! People describe our relationship as that of an old married couple, one minute we are laughing and the next minute fussing at each other (all in love). Melissa knew before I did that my single season was ending and started preparing for her bridesmaid responsibilities before I even went on one date with Cameron. I’m honored and blessed to have her as my Maid of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Brianna a.k.a Little Big Sis, is the little sister I never knew I wanted. When I was first told that I was going to have another sibling my exact words were, “I’m going to be babysitting forever.” That all changed when I laid eyes on her for the first time - I loved her immediately. As we’ve gotten older, Brianna has not only been my sister but she’s become my best friend. She puts up with all of my crazy shenanigans. She isn’t the annoying little sister, I’m the annoying big sister that drives her crazy. But still, I know I can always go to her for anything, without any judgment. She always tells me “I'm on this rollercoaster with you” and I love her for that.
Bridesmaid
Edika is what I call her! Our friendship spans over 25 years - starting in high school where we first met. Let Erica tell it I was the bad influence between us (which I will deny to the grave)! We have grown from being little scrawny teenagers dreaming big, to now being beautiful, intelligent women who have accomplished so much. I am so proud of her!!! We’ve always talked about being old, sitting in rocking chairs on our porches talking about the good old times!!! I have no doubt that we will be!!
Bridesmaid
Justine and I first met back in 2006 at Faith Christian Center. Through volunteering and our love for God we quickly became friends! As many may know, we hosted annual Black and Red parties - which were so infamous that people still talk about them to this day (we knew how to throw a party!). I have the privilege of being the godmother to Justine’s daughter, Leilani, who I absolutely love to pieces. Justine is a friend that no matter what is going on with her, she always checks on me to make sure that I’m ok. She is one of my biggest cheerleaders. I’m so blessed to have her as one of my best friends.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and I go all the way back almost 20 years ago to our days at A.S.U. as Residents Assistants!! Jessica and her family have taken me in as one of their own. I describe our relationship more so as family rather than friends. I remember one night in college, Jessica was there for me when I needed her most, even though it was at midnight and pouring down rain. That's the type of friend that she is! No matter what I need I know she will be there!!
Bridesmaid
Anjulie and I met in college as we both pledging Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in Spring 2004. Anjulie wasn't a big fan of mine when we first met (I’m seeing a theme here - lol)! All that has changed now, of course, as we’ve become close friends. Anjulie is so thoughtful and giving. She is the friend that remembers every birthday, anniversary, or major event in my life. I have the honor of having her stand next to me on one of the biggest days of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. Everyone should have an Anjulie in their life!
Bridesmaid
When Lynne’ and I first met, we just “clicked”. You would’ve thought that we’d been friends for years. She is one of my biggest supporters, always encouraging and pushing me to do bigger and better with all aspects of life. She continuously puts others first, one of the many characteristics that I love about her!! I'm so excited that she said yes to being my bridesmaid and can't wait to have her standing next to me on my wedding day.
Best Man
Patrick's and Cameron's friendship has grown more over the past few years but started years ago at church. He's now considered a brother that Cameron can go and talk to about anything.
Groomsman
Victor has been one of Cameron's best friends for several years and is even the Godfather to his two children! They've spent countless hours over the years hanging out, and even traveling together, which has built them a great friendship.
Groomsman
Joseph has been a trusted voice in Cameron's life after their friendship grew while serving at church. Joseph's high energy and positive personality has been a staple in their brotherhood.

Groomsman
Arif and Cameron used to both be a part of a game night crew and from there, their friendship grew into more. From golfing to catch-up conversations over breakfast, it's always good times when they get together.
Officiant
We're both excited and consider it an honor to have our friend, sister, and prayer partner officiate our wedding. Back in 2023, Adia discussed with Haydee the thought of her officiating her wedding, if and when she ever got married. Although having various individuals very well suited to perform the honor, the depth of their personal friendship and the calling on Haydee's life, guided the decision to have her marry us.
Black Tie preferred but optional. Formal attire at a minimum is requested.
Although we love your little ones, the wedding ceremony and reception will be an adult-only affair.
There is limited free valet when guests arrive! Valet parking will begin at 3:30 pm, two hours prior to ceremony. Once full, there is downtown city self-parking nearby. We strongly recommend giving yourself enough time to potentially find parking and walk to the venue before the ceremony begins.
We pray no one has to miss any portion of the ceremony but please know that if you are not seated by 5:25pm, you will not be allowed to enter until Adia has finished walking down the isle! Please note that the ceremony is inside of an enclosed, outdoor courtyard, that is not viewable from the outside.
Our Engagement
Our favorite place for date night!!! Don't leave without trying their Butter Cake!!!
A must try is Lux Central where we had our first meet up after reconnecting. Try their Mac and Cheese with a side of bacon!!! All of their coffee and pastries are delicious.
One of Cameron's favorite places to golf.
If you bring your clubs, while in Phoenix, take some time and relax and go golfing.
