FAQs

We’ve answered a few common questions below to help make things easy, but if there’s anything we missed, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We’re happy to help and can’t wait to celebrate together in Italy
Question

Where is the wedding registry?

Answer

Thank you for being part of our special day! If you'd like to send us a gift, you're welcome to use any of the following accounts. Europe Matteo Gheno IBAN: ES7800730100530647911671 BIC: OPENESMMXXX Branch Number: 0100 Dominican Republic Matteo Gheno · YC2790792 Ahorros US: 7549760028 Cuenta Estándar: H00000000037549760028 Panamá Yappy: +507 693 71191

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 1 to 2 days before the wedding so you have time to settle in, adjust to the time zone, and enjoy the area a bit before the celebrations begin. It also makes everything feel much more relaxed on the big day, please let us know if you are arriving before so we have time to meet before Saturday :)

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Bassano del Grappa, a beautiful and charming town with great restaurants, lovely piazzas, and a wonderful atmosphere. It’s a perfect base for the weekend. We will be arranging transportation to and from the ceremony and reception, so you won’t need to worry about logistics on the wedding day

Question

How do I get to Treviso?

Answer

The closest airports are Venice Marco Polo (VCE) and Treviso Airport (TSF). From Venice Marco Polo, you can reach Bassano or Treviso by car, taxi, or train in about 45 minutes. Trains in this region are easy and reliable

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

June in this region is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from 20–30°C (68–86°F). Evenings can be slightly cooler, so a light layer is a good idea

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Think elegant and festive. For men, light or dark suits are perfect. Linen is absolutely welcome, especially with the June warmth in Italy. For ladies, midi or long dresses are ideal. June can be quite warm, so breathable fabrics are your friend. Parts of the celebration takes place on grass or gravel, you may want to reconsider very thin stilettos

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We will be arranging vans to and from the venue for guests staying in Bassano del Grappa. If you are staying elsewhere, you’re welcome to arrive by shared transport or car. We’re also happy to share trusted local transportation vendors if you’d like to arrange something privately. More details, including pick-up times and locations, will be shared in the coming weeks.

Question

What can I do while I'm in the area?

Answer

Venice, the Prosecco hills, Verona, beaches, and even the Dolomites are all within easy reach. We’ve shared some ideas on our Things to Do page to help you plan

Question

Is the ceremony or reception outdoors?

Answer

Parts of the celebration may take place outdoors. We recommend comfortable shoes and sunglasses for daytime
