We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Brooklyn/Downtown, which is a 14 min car ride away from the venue. To make a reservation please click the "view" link below. Please note that rooms with two beds are only visible if dates are adjusted to start on Saturday, May 24. If you would like to start your stay earlier on Friday, May 23, a select few rooms with only one bed will be available to choose from by default. To book a room with two beds starting from Saturday, May 24 click "Book a Room" and then "edit stay" at the top right. Click on the large blue "23 May" on the left side and adjust your stay to May 24-May 25 in the calendar field. Click "done" then "update" and an option for "2 Double" rooms should appear below. Be sure to book your hotel room by May 2, 2025 in order to receive our group discount. If any guests would prefer to speak with someone on the phone, feel free to dial the hotel property at 718-875-8800. Attendees can also call 1-800-HILTONS to call central reservations.

If traveling by car, please refer to your preferred GPS app for directions. If traveling by subway: The closest subway station to Rule of Thirds is the Nassau Ave stop on the G line. From Nassau Ave, the walk is 7 mins. Alternatively, the Bedford Ave stop on the L line is a 15 min walk to the venue. Ubers and Lyfts are also readily available in NYC, and a car ride from the Hampton Inn Brooklyn/Downtown is a 14 min car trip. Please refer to the question and answer below regarding transportation Uber voucher codes if you are staying in our hotel block.
If you are staying at the Hampton Inn Brooklyn/Downtown parking is $45.00 per day for self-parking and $65.00 for valet parking. The area around Rule of Thirds is street parking only.
We will have a very limited amount of Uber voucher codes to share with guests staying at our Hampton Inn/Downtown Brooklyn hotel block for $25 towards Uber rides to/from Rule of Thirds. If you are not staying at the hotel, but see this note and would like to use the voucher, please inquire with us directly and we can try to accommodate, pending availability. Sharing of Uber rides is encouraged. Rides will only be valid within 5 miles of the venue on the day of and into the early morning.
Please use our websites RSVP page as we will be using Zola to track your responses. We will not have mail-in RSVP cards included in the invitations. Please RSVP by April 1, but if you'd like to RSVP earlier, that is also appreciated!
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors but weather permitting, we hope to have our cocktail hour outdoors at Rule of Thirds event patio space.
The dress code is garden semi-formal. We will be primarily indoors but our theme is lush garden with a tropical flare. Please feel free to wear floral prints and fun colors or light colored suits. For easy reference, our bridesmaids and groomswomen will be wearing shades of green and floral green prints, if you would prefer to avoid matching them.
Please refer to the names on your invitation. Due to the intimacy of our wedding, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones, unless otherwise specified. Thank you for understanding!
We have decided to keep our wedding event adults-only with only a few exceptions for family and appreciate your understanding.
