Travel Tips to the Ranch

Travel Note

Best Routes

If flying in from Las Vegas, you can take I 15 North past Cedar City, to highway 20 east, 89 south, then 12 east. You can get groceries in Cedar City, Panguitch or Escalante. Cedar City and Panguitch have a larger liquor store than Escalante. Longer route: You can also exit at Hurricane and take highway 9 through Zion National Park ( pay the entrance fee even if you’re just driving through), then north on 89 to 12 East. This route would skip the other grocery stores so stock up in Hurricane or St. George.

Travel Note

Attractions along the way

Here are some beaUTAHful areas to check out along the drive! - Red Canyon ( beginning of highway 12). This canyon is mind blowing! Highway 12 takes you directly through it. If you have time to stop there are amazing short or longer hikes, mountain biking and horseback riding if you want to spend more time there. https://redcanyonlodge.com/red-canyon-lodge-horseback-rides/ Bryce Canyon National Park Highway 12 takes you on the edge of the national Park. You can take a 45 minute driving detour and drive through the whole park or spend more time hiking. I highly recommend driving through on your way to or from the wedding! Kodachrome State Park Also located off highway 12, a beautiful red rock state park with various hikes.
