What To Expect
This is a very low-key affair that's taking place between 3 separate locations. All timing on the schedule (with the exception of the ceremony start time) is very flexible - if you need a break between sections, please, by all means, take it.
All of the places we'll be are within a mile of each other. While we'll be moving somewhat en masse, we do expect guests to figure out how to get from American Cheez to Mama Tried.
It's a 23 minute walk, and (if you're brave enough to try a Citi Bike) a 7 minute bike ride. You could also take the bus (B63, B67, B69) or the R train to go from Prospect Ave to 25th Street (though that will take longer than walking). And of course, there's always Uber!
We will provide plenty of food, dancing, and an open bar. Food will be served buffet style and you can expect vegetarian and vegan options.

What To Do With The Rest Of Your Weekend
You'll be in NYC, so there are a million things you can do. But here are some of our favorite things in Brooklyn that you might like to try!
- Go on a tour of Green-Wood Cemetery
- Get your hands dirty with some bowling at Melody Lanes
- Visit one of our favorite Brooklyn restaurants: Ras Plant Based, La Vara, South Slope Ramen
- Go on a Brooklyn independent bookstore tour and check out Books Are Magic, McNally Jackson, Center for Fiction, and Greenlight Books. If you want to go to Manhattan, check out Sweet Pickle Books (and get some pickles with your pages)
What To Wear
We're going to be walking around quite a bit. Wear comfortable shoes that you feel you could walk a mile or two in!
Feel free to be formal, feel free to wear jeans. You should wear whatever will make you feel comfortable as we run around Brooklyn.
