Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! If you’d like to participate in the spirit of our celebration, feel free to come in “garden attire” - to us, that means bright colors, cheerful florals, anything in your closet that feels too loud for a regular event
We'll be offering a lunch buffet and sweet bites. There won't be traditional wedding events or a dance floor (though of course, you're always welcome to dance if the spirit moves you.) Just socializing and time together!
Will there be a ceremony?
Not at this event! We're having a small, private ceremony near our home in New York City, and we're celebrating with friends and family separately.
We're hosting our family party in Shirley because both of us are from Massachusetts, and most of our family members still live nearby. It's important to us to have an event where kids are welcome, you don't have to worry too much about travel, and you don't have to deal with the subway.
We want this to be easy for you, so please let us know if we can help you with anything. We can't wait to see and celebrate with you!
