However, there are more amenities located within Manistee -- restaurants, shops, etc. -- for our guests who prefer a bit more activity. The hotel is new (less than two years old), is situated in a beautiful location directly across from First Street Beach, and surrounded by city park activities -- playgrounds, pickleball courts, disc golf, golf course, dog park, and the beach! This dog-friendly hotel also boasts a huge outdoor patio and bar looking out to Lake Michigan that includes three firepits, picnic tables, rocking and lounge chairs, plus corn hole and other outdoor games, and indoor-outdoor hot tub. Views from the hotel's upstairs restaurant and bar afford outstanding views of Lake Michigan, the mouth of the Manistee River, and the quaint Victorian downtown.

Portage Point Resort has graced the shores of Portage Lake in Onekama since 1903. The website provides a central location to view and rent individual properties located within the resort. Amenities: Portage Point Cafe & Pizzeria and Lahey's Pub are on-site, an infinity-edge pool, plus access to both Portage Lake and Lake Michigan. The resort is approximately 2.5 miles from the Friday evening welcome reception, and about 7 miles from the Saturday wedding reception location.
