Our Story

The Wedding Website of Angela Acuña and Jeffrey Pierson
Angela and Jeff met in February 2017. She was out with her girlfriends for a birthday brunch for bridesmaid, Kim... he was out to brunch with his parents. Jeff being the extrovert that he is saw fun being had by the gals and wanted to join. They exchanged phone numbers and Angela went on her way. A few days later, when turning on her phone after landing on a trip with a friend, she had a text from Jeff. When she returned they went on their first date to Crime & Punishment brewery. Although it wasnt their favorite beer, they always talk about that day, and how Jeff took home a pint glass souveneir. From then on, they became inseperable. Angela and Jeff love having adventures, and take advantage of every opportunity to explore a new place. Fast forward 8(!) years, Jeff joined Angela for a work trip in Europe. While in the peaceful, tiny Croatian fishing village of Komiza, he popped the question! Here are some photos of their travels over the years!

FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests who receive an invitation please RSVP online or by mail by Friday July 25, 2025. Unfortunately, if we have not received your RSVP by that date we will have to assume that you will, unfortunately, not be able to make it. Due to vendor deadlines, we will not be able to accept late RSVPs.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you! If you are not able to make it, please RSVP accordingly so we can plan. If you have already RSVP'd "attending" and you are no longer able to, please call/text us as soon as possible

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding! Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Accomodations" tab. You are able to reserve through this link until August 4, 2025

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm, we request that you arrive by 3:30pm and give yourself time to find your seat in the chapel.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

As we are holding our ceremony in a Catholic Chapel we ask that you either silence or turn your phone off before the beginning of the ceremony and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and procession/recession. We want the people we love to be fully present with us during this special moment. We have an amazing photographer that will be capturing the best moments, and we will absolutely share those with you!

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

The Chapel where the ceremony will take place is at Nazareth Academy High School. There is ample parking here. Please drive past the circle, you will see the parking lot on your right. From your parking spot, walk back to the circle, and up the stairs where the white columns are and into the entrance of the chapel. Cescaphe Ballroom is located in Northern Liberties. As we know parking in this area is difficult, valet parking is being provided at no charge to you. If you are driving your personal vehicle, please pull up to the front of the Ballroom on N. 2nd Street and to the valet stand. Uber/Lyft are also very reliable in the city of Philadelphia.

Question

Where can I choose my meal option?

Answer

When you are seated at the reception, you will see the menu options on your plate. Not long after you are seated you will be able to tell the waiter your choice! Any dietary restictions can be shared with the wait staff at the table (for example: dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan) If you have any concerns about this please feel free to text us!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We hope you choose an outfit that makes you feel fabulous! Our dress code is black-tie optional. We ask that you wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Alternatively, an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress would be appropriate.
