Our Story

Forever Begins with Faith

We met at Agua Viva during a young adults connect group, and from the very first moment, we both felt something special. Levi thought Abigail was cute but was too shy to make eye contact. Abigail, on the other hand, was immediately drawn to Levi’s quiet charm and was intrigued by his thoughtful, patient nature. Though both of us were naturally shy, there was an undeniable connection from the start. Even though we were both interested in each other, we didn’t make the first move right away. As we continued to attend church and serve in ministry together, our friendship grew stronger, rooted in shared values, a love for Jesus, and a deepening connection. Over the next few months, we admired each other’s unique qualities. Levi loved how Abigail could make anyone feel welcome, while Abigail admired Levi’s dedication to serving others and his strong work ethic. As our bond deepened, we began to open up more, learning to be vulnerable and communicate openly, which strengthened our relationship. Levi knew Abigail was the one when he spoke about her to his family, and Abigail realized Levi was meant for her when she shared all about him with her parents. On September 12, 2021, Levi decided to reach out with a text, and from there, our conversations flowed easily. We both quickly realized how much we truly had in common—Abigail’s outgoing nature and love for making people feel welcome, and Levi’s intelligence, humor, and heart for others. Our relationship grew in faith and love, and Jesus became the center of everything we built together. A year later, on October 25, 2022, Levi gathered the courage to ask Abigail out, and from that moment on, our love blossomed. On July 13, 2024, in a beautiful surprise, Levi proposed on the Ocean to Ocean bridge. Working with Edwin, he turned a simple video into a heartfelt proposal that Abigail never saw coming. It was a reflection of Levi’s thoughtfulness and love for Abigail, and she was deeply touched by his effort. Together, we dream of raising a happy, God-loving family, continuing to grow in faith, love, and service to others. We enjoy traveling, serving at church, and spending time with each other and our loved ones. Our faith is the foundation of everything we do, and it has led us to this beautiful journey together, knowing that our love is a gift from God.
