We met in school. Freshman year to be specific. He walked into biology class, not his, mine. We weren’t in class together but his sister was in my class and after lunch, he would walk her to class every day. We didn’t speak that year, but we noticed each other. He would linger too long in the classroom and I would walk to class early from lunch to see him drop her off. We didn’t talk until junior year when he snuck his way into my friend group during lunch every day till he became my best friend. The rest? well that’s a whole other story.
