Is there a dress code?

Our unofficial theme is "Garden Party" - so feel free to embrace the spring/early summer weather! We recommend semi-formal but outdoors-friendly attire. The venue is a family farm and some spaces are open gravel or short backyard grass, so please wear shoes you're okay getting a little bit dusty or grassy. We recommend wearing bright colors in whatever style you are comfortable in! Be inspired by a field of wildflowers. Lightweight fabrics are likely to be better if it is a hot day. We will have a tented area to avoid any adverse weather day-of.

For nearby guests, there is plenty of parking at the farm! Reach out to us for any transportation questions/directions from the metro! I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We have requested catering options respectful of allergies or restrictions around peanuts and tree nuts, onions and garlic, gluten, and have many options for vegetarian and vegan guests. NOT EVERY DISH IS ALLERGY FRIENDLY! Please check with the caterer day-of or ask us anytime between now and Sunday if you are wondering which dishes are safe and which to avoid.

How do I get there?

Answer

For guests at the hotel, we are providing shuttle service to and from the party! We will reach out to you directly to announce the departure time soon - likely 11:30 from the hotel, and 6pm from the farm. For guests driving, there is a large parking lot to the left immediately upon entry to the farm. If you’d like to drop off anyone closer to the seating area before parking, turn right towards the arena instead.

I have some extra time. What is there to do in the area?

World Cup: Northern NJ is hosting several festival-type watch parties across the area, with the closest being in Newark. Matches are being held Saturday, Sunday and Monday! Get tickets here: https://flagcities.com Jersey Shore: several pleasant parks and beaches are located along the coast just north of Matawan, including Gateway National Recreation Area (quieter) and Keansburg Amusement Park/Union Beach Pier (boardwalk). Shopping and Dining: Oak Tree Road is well known for its extensive array of shops featuring Indian clothing and jewelry. While there, stop by Sukhadia’s, a famous sweets shop, and pick out a box of assorted laddu, peda, or barfi, or some fresh jalebi to-go. A little closer to the hotel, visit Main Street in Metuchen for a charming stroll along boutiques and cafes, or grab dinner Saturday evening before the party at one of the many restaurants located along the boulevard.
