The more I got to know her, the clearer it became—there was something special about her. Before I even realized it, I had made up my mind that I liked her and wanted to ask her out. That moment came on June 29th. Honestly, I didn’t think she would say yes, so when she did, it completely caught me by surprise. I had always seen her as someone thoughtful and intentional, someone who took her time with things, which made her answer mean even more to me. As time went on, everything I had felt at the beginning only became more certain. What started as a feeling quickly turned into a deep conviction. About six months into our relationship, I knew without a doubt—I was going to marry her. By the eight-month mark, I began making plans for our families to meet in Miami. I kept telling her that the whole purpose of the trip was simply to ask her father for his blessing, just so she wouldn’t suspect what I was really planning. With the help of her sisters and the rest of her family, everything came together perfectly. The moment itself was beautiful—something I’ll never forget. She didn’t suspect a thing. If I had to describe it, I’d say it felt like a scene straight out of a movie. There were tears, hugs, and so much love all around us. And then came March 6th, 2026—a day I will hold in my heart forever. It was a day filled with overwhelming emotion, happy tears, and so much love. Seeing the thought and care he poured into every detail touched me more than I can put into words. And having our families there, sharing in that moment, made it even more meaningful.
