After enjoying New Tampa Players’ lively production of 'Legally Blonde' with her friend Katie, Amanda felt a familiar spark. The stage was calling her back. She answered that call by joining the cast of 'Annie', where she not only rediscovered her love for theater but also met someone new—Aaron, a fresh face who had just made his debut in Dreamhouse Theatre’s 'She Loves Me'. At first, their connection was part of the ensemble buzz—group messages, script read-throughs, and cast camaraderie. But something shifted in May 2018 when they met in person during rehearsal. With a little (okay, a lot of) encouragement from her sister Emily, Amanda decided to take a leap and hang out with Aaron outside of the theater. Their shared love of musicals quickly set the tone, and by May 2019, Amanda made the bold move: she asked him out. From comic conventions to roller coasters, their dates were full of fun, laughter, and growing affection. Then came the curtain call on one chapter and the opening scene of another. On December 14, 2024—an anniversary that honored Amanda’s grandparents—Aaron and Amanda got engaged. And now, they’re thrilled to have you alongside them as they step into their next act together.
